Choosing the proper wax is a key element to achieving the perfect candle result. For that reason, Yaley only produces the finest waxes available in a variety of weights ranging from  1 lb. blocks to 55 lbs. cases.  It is also available in pellet form.

PREMIUM WAX click link to view and purchase
This premium quality wax was specially designed for use in molded candles. It is unsurpassed for this use. This wax gives superior mold release, smooth and blister free surfaces, and the reduced splaying action tends to give a longer burning candle. If burned continuously, it produces attractive foliating designs. It is the premium wax which many of the large candle manufacturers use today. It has a melting point of 148°F.

This wax is a special blend of waxes and additives for the candle maker who wants the professional look.  Excellent wax for use in plastic or metal molds.  It has an excellent mold release and a smooth finish.  this wax is used by many of the large candle manufacturers.  This wax needs no additives.  Yaley Snowflake oil WILL NOT work in this wax.  This wax is not recommended for embedding, as the wax is not as translucent as our Premium Wax.  It has a melting point of 139°F.

This wax was developed to produce high quality dipped taper candles. Superior adhesion is obtained between the dip layers of taper candles. Because of its unique composition, reduced amounts of opaque crystals or stearic acid are required to provide the desired opaqueness and resistance to bending under normal temperature conditions. Candles made with this wax are also free from blisters and pimples. This wax has a melting point of 139°F.

This special blend of natural oils produces an interesting crystallizing appearance in your candles.  It is available in a Pillar/Votive blend and an Container blend.  The Pillar/Votive blend has a 136°F melt point and the Container blend has a 125°F melt point.

A special blend of soy beans with other botanical oils make up this 100% natural soot free wax.  An excellent alternative to paraffin wax.  It is available in a Pillar/Votive blend and an Container blend.  The Pillar/Votive blend has a 140°F melt point and the Container blend has a 135°F melt point.

GLASS-FILL WAX click link to view and purchase
This wax has a relatively low oil content and light color. It is used extensively for candles which are burned in glass containers. When used with the proper wick, it produces very little smoke and gives good meltdown from the inside wall of the glass container. The melting point of this wax is 128°F.

CRÈME WAX click link to view and purchase
This wax was developed for container type candles. A well will not form when pouring in most containers, however some odd sized containers will require a second pour to fill the well. Melt wax to a temperature of 160ºF to 170ºF. Do not pour in metal molds. This wax enhances the fragrance and burning quality of a candle.  The melting point of this wax is 127°F.

Yaley's Gel Wax is ideal for candle making especially for embedding objects.  Our wax is considered low density.  It is long lasting and odorless.  We suggest pouring it between 210°F-260°F.  All of our candle dyes both liquid and solid are compatible with the gel.  However, Yaley's solid candle scents are not compatible with the gel.  Most of Yaley's liquid candle scents are compatible, so please check the compatibility listing of the fragrance.  This specially formulated gel will make long lasting glass fill candles. Available in Four sizes, 23 oz., 1 gallon, 5 gallon, and 360 lb. drum.

This wax is designed for making sculptured candles plus it is excellent for batiking. Its melting point is 145°F. It is also used in place of bee's wax as the cost is much less expensive and does a far better job than bee's wax. This is a special formula developed by our company many years ago.

Our candle wax chunks come in an assortment of colors; white, green, yellow, blue, red, multi (more colors being added.) They come in 12 oz. packages and are available in bulk.  These wax chunks are an additive and cannot be melted down to form a candle.
